If she's faced with the choice between two equal men,she'll stay with what she has,but if she is presented with the option of a Five Star Guy or an overgrown teenager,breaking things upbecomes a much more attractive option. 

Another key is to give her what she is missing with her current boyfriend. If her boyfriend is the boring type, your best bet is to be quite the opposite. If her boyfriend is the bad boy, you just have to be the caring and loving type. With this exhibition of attitude, you have the upper hand here, and just swoop in and get the girl. 

3. BE CAREFUL NOT TO BE HER BEST GUY FRIEND 

That is generally termed as 'FRIEND-ZONING'. Girl likes this alot[don't know the reason though]. You don't just want to be her shoulder to cry on.
