[Hawnsgist] Shock Slams The World As Pastor Adeboye Retires As RCCG General Overseer, Names His Successor

Early this morning, it was discovered that Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, the General Overseer Of the Redeemed Christian Church Of God has stepped down from office in Nigeria. Schock swept throughout the world as people took in this news with stunned expressions. He named Pastor J. O obayemi as his successor,  saying that:

“Whereas the constitution provided that the deputy and assistant general overseers are appointed to retire at 70 and enjoy their retirement benefits for life, there is no such provision for the general overseer.”

It was also learnt that he only appointed Pastor Obayemi as his successor in Nigeria due to some laws present in the Nigerian Constitution. This means that Obayemi will head the RCCG in Nigeria while Pastor Afeboye remains the head of RCCG worldwide. 

Obayemi was a deputy in charge of Finance and a member of governing council, before his appointment.

The question on everyone's mind is that will Pastor Obayemi Be able to Hold RCCG Nigeria like Pastor Adeboye did???
