Buhari Now Under Massive Fire For Jailing Man Who Named Dog After Him

President Buhari, The President O f the Federal Republic Of Nigeria, is now under intense criticism for influencing the arrest of the man who named his pet dog after him. The man is known simply as Joachim Chinakwe a.k.a Joe. Joe was remanded on Monday 22nd of August at Ibara Prison following his arraignment at court.
 
 The accused was taken to the Ibara Prison pending when he fulfills his bail condition. However, the jailing of the trader has fueled the narrative that President Buhari might have masterminded the incarceration of the man to teach him a lesson. Some Nigerians have accused the president of displaying dictatorial tendencies for persecuting the man because he named his dog ‘Buhari’.
