Mum charged with killing her newborn baby girl

29 year old mother, Ginaite Suminaitehas been arrested and charged
with killing her newborn baby in their West Sussex  home shortly after the baby was born.
She was arrested after an ambulance was called to her house on Aldwick Road, Bognor Regis, at 8.37am on Wednesday. They rushed her to the St Richard's Hospital in Chichester for urgent medical help but her baby girl didn't make it. The baby was pronounced dead at the scene, Sussex Police said.


However, as soon as Suminaitehas was released from the hospital on Friday, the police promptly arrested her for her child's murder and charged her on Saturday.

Suminaite will appear at Crawley Magistrates' Court today April 11, charged with killing her baby.
